Antony is much more well-known OS than Australia but I hope that changes as his philosophy/writing/life skills are justifiably well regarded. In 'Real Family Food' he makes the valid point that food is not just
something to be quickly shovelled down throats, but a focus for family
bonding and an opportunity to communicate with one another, play with
one another, and respect one another.
Before Xmas we sold a Tessa Kiros cookbook "Twelve" & I was glad to see it going to an appreciative home - the buyer of this book will be giving themselves a big pat on the back for a wise purchase too at just - $23

At first glance I thought this was to be "another war book" but it's turned out to be an amazing achievement to collate so much tactical & personal detail into this modest seeming volume - I'd rate it 10 out of 10 for an "in their shoes" experience.

Established on 22 February 1944 as a redesignation of VIII Bomber Command at High Wycombe Airdrome, the 8th AF was a United States Army Air Forces combat air force in the European Theater of World War II, engaging in operations primarily in Northern Europe carrying out strategic bombing of enemy targets in France, the Low countries and Germany and engaging in air to air fighter combat against enemy aircraft right up the German capitulation in May 1945.
