Our shop is a treasure trove of old, new and out-of-print books as well as interesting vintage furniture, homewares and gifts. We have over 20,000 quality books on our shelves ranging from Biographies, to Art to Australiana many out of print books with an ever changing stock.
Visit us in the heart of historic Mudgee, the mid-western centre for fine food and wine. Church Street is the main shopping precinct and we are located at the northern end near the Clock Tower.

A Bookseller's Life When we first started I think we had the idea that we'd be able to enjoy hours of relaxed reading whilst enjoying a coffee from the nearby cafe. In fact one neighbouring business operated in such a fashion - the proprietor would sit in the window seat of a takeaway reading the paper & sipping his coffee - when a customer entered his store he'd wander across to tend to their needs; almost like the stalls in Greece & Turkey where the owners sit outside chatting and watching the tourists pass.
