Over Cherry Tree Hill

Over Cherry Tree Hill

Over Cherry Tree Hill is the story of this well-known hill & its surrounding countryside, from Paleozoic times to the present. Written by over fifty contributors, it traces the settlement of this part of the County of Roxburgh, NSW, firstly by the Wiradjuri people & later by Europeans. Many of the contributors are descendants. Enpapers are a sketch map of the area, cover painting by Ian Webb. Compiler Margaret Piddington ignored military wisdom of "never volunteer" & has done a mavellous job bringing this book to fruition & the folks of the Ilford & Running Stream area can be rightly proud of this record. 242pp & numerous historic photos
